When we started our loving WLM, we thought that it was required and that if we didn't use one, that the Kinky Police would come and not allow us to play. *smile
After a while she decided she would prefer that I be on the honor system because she didn't like the hygiene issues associated with the cage we were using. The CB6000 pictured above. It's a nice enough cage. Comfortable and serves the intended purpose, but ..... the tube has very little room for cleaning and often times the wayward spraying of pee made things unseemly real fast. Besides, she wanted spontaneous and immediate access whenever she felt urge and didn't want to have to deal with issue around removing it ... namely the need to clean it.
Now, she only uses the cage for punishment purposes. If she is especially disappointed or upset with me, in the cage I go for several days. Again, Guh!
We were browsing some naughty and she saw the Mature Metal Jailbird, pictured above. She decided that the design would be more conducive to offset the hygiene issue and sent off to research it. This device gets great reviews pretty much universally, but I thought I would ask my reader that are familiar with one what they thought of it. It's expensive, so before committing to a purchase, please, if you would be so kind as to chine in with your comments, opinions and reviews of the Mature Metal Jail Bird.

ReplyDeleteMM's Jail Bird is an awesome belt. I have worn mine now for 7 years or so. (Time flies) Of course not 24/7/365 but I do stay caged for 30, 60, 90 days at a time. Keeping clean is a snap in JB. IMHO you can't go wrong wit the JB. Plus, service from William at MM is a 10 out of 10. Excellent service and quick.
For us, service after the sale was important. We have sent mine back to MM a few times for tweaks and to have my cage shortened. Yes they are $$$ but they're worth it.
100% agree with the above comment. Like you I started with the CB6k, and like you, we had the same issues with needing to remove and cleaning. We bought our first Jailbird in 2016, and instantly fell in love. It really is a night and day difference. It's heavier, and does take some time to get used to, but you do eventually forget you're even wearing it. Couple pieces of advice I can offer.
ReplyDelete1) Buy the sizing rings. You need to be 110% sure on sizes, or you will have to send it back. Even if you do get the sizing rings, you still may have to send it back to adjustment. But this is an investment, and something that when is sized perfectly, is comfortable, and can be worn truly 24/7, with the only need for removal is a good shave.
2) Seriously consider the double base ring. I have 2 cages now, the first one I ordered with a single ring, the second I got with a double. The double in infinitely more comfortable. BUT, and here's where the 100% positive of size comes in, the double ring can not be resized like the single can. So be certain you know your base ring size.
3) Definitely get the security screw option. Unless you like ruining your pretty panties. The lock, with the sharp edges, will quickly rub holes on your undies. Found that one out by experience :(
4) I believe on thier site it says when you measure your flaccid length, to order a 1/4" shorter. I read on (I think it was chastitymansion.com) to actually order 1/2" shorter. That's how I ordered my first cage. My second was about 1.5" shorter. The key here is ZERO room to expand. Stop any erection before it can begin. If your penis has ANY room to grow, it will become painful, and not in the good way.

We'll see what happens. I'm on the honor system simply because it is Mistress K.'s preference. Replacing the CB6000 with the knowledge that if I do touch it sexually, it is the same has infidelity has been enough for me to have never "strayed" in 8 years. Hand to God!

terrie's in a Holy Trainer (baby pink of course). Overall it works well for both of us. The locking mechanism doesn't set off metal detectors (though scanners pick it up), there's really no pinching of her skin and hygiene isn't a problem. We also have a mature metal single ring that worked well.

DeleteIn the past few years a few 3D printed models have come along that have been game changers. I have used both a cherry keeper and recently got a cobra from kink3d and both are great but for me the kink3d cobra is handsdown the winner. Definitely worth checking out, I wear 24/7 no problem.

DeleteI have a Cherry Keeper that I am quite happy with. I also have a couple of knock off metal cages. The metal cages are easier to keep clean. However, due to the fit and light weight I tend to stick with the Cherry Keeper.

ReplyDeleteHere is a bit of review on my experience.
The metal cage I like the best is descriptively called an A272. The A272 is a solid metal cage and has a distal end that is very similar to the Cherry Keeper (two vertical bars). I find it easy to hygienically urinate through either the A272 or the Cherry Keeper. So I don't see an advantage to either one when it comes to peeing. The weight of the metal cage is an advantage simply because it feels good. The tradeoff is that I do need to wear more supportive underwear to keep it in place. The metal cage is a bit more difficult to put on since it is a solid cage (for me I have found the best way to put it on is to push my penis all the way into my body and then let it expand into the cage). The Cherry Keeper is simpler and faster to put on. And since the Cherry Keeper is light it doesn't really need much support. So I tend to go mainly with the Cherry Keeper, but change it up once in a while and switch to metal.
Thank you for the input my friend. Very valuable information. The thing that appeals to Mistress K. about the jail Bird is the looks and wire cage design. She believe that without there being a "closed tube" that houses the penis. In that regard, it might be something that She will like about the Cherry Keeper.
