Is it a coincidence? I don't think so
Just sayin ...... As you can see from the article here, the divorce rate in the US is at a 35 years low. Of course I cannot prove it, but I believe that the rise in popularity of Female Led Marriages partly explains this phenomenon. Then again, I could be wrong. Your thoughts?

DeleteI do believe that female led marriages are on the rise or are at least more out in the open. Really I believe both, they are more common and not as hidden.

I agree with most of that. I believe that the internet has allowed those of us who live in this lifestyle to be able to know that there are others out there that feel the same, and therefore aren't apt to feel all alone and weird.

ReplyDeleteI responded before reading the article. Now am I reading that graph correctly? In 1970 the Divorce to marriage rate was 15/76 or 19% divorce rate while today the same ratio is 17/32 or about 53%? OK, so the rate of divorces look to be dropping but so is the rate of women marrying and the rate of failure is still ominously high.

DeleteSeriously though, I totally understand your point and I agree. Just trying to do my little part to promote a lifestyle that I truly believe would make many more marriages last and be fulfilling if they were better understood and accepted.

Hi archedone .... She does read my blog, although it has been some time since she has. She would love to be able to, but the fire in her to do so doesn't burn as hot as it does with me. In addition, it has been some time since she attended to her email account. I ma required to give her daily reminders of this FLM related (such as when a spanking is due (like now) and if she has new email in her "Goddess Account") She has recently promised that she would attend to those emails because she knows it is rude to ignore people that have taken the time to send her a note.
